Terms and Conditions of Sale

Booking and Payment

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due before the start of the activity. Payments can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, check, or cash.

Failure to pay the balance may result in the cancellation of the guided fishing or nature activity and the application of cancellation fees equivalent to the deposit paid.

A booking is only confirmed after the guide or instructor has confirmed by phone or email and the deposit has been received.

Fishing times will be agreed in advance between the guide/instructor and the client:

  • Full day: 7 hours of fishing (excluding meal breaks)

  • Half-day: 4 hours of fishing (without meals)

  • Morning/evening session: 3 hours (without meals)

  • Nature activities: 2 hours

  • Fishing activities: 2 hours

For all guided fishing trips, the professional fishing guide/instructor will provide the client with:

  • Fishing rods and reels

  • A boat (for boat-based trips)

  • Basic fishing tackle

  • Natural bait and artificial lures

The fishing license can be provided upon request. Accommodation and meals are not included in the prices of the services.

Postponement and Cancellation

Trips may be cancelled due to bad weather or at the discretion of the guide/instructor. In such cases, the activity will either be rescheduled or fully refunded.

Any cancellation by the client within 7 days of the activity will result in the loss of the deposit. Cancellations must be sent to Pêche Animation Médoc by email or by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. Only the date of receipt of the registered mail will be considered as the reference date for calculating cancellation fees.

If a trip is cut short by the client, no refund will be issued.

Claims

Any issues during the guided fishing or nature session must be reported immediately to the guide/instructor so the problem can be resolved as quickly as possible.

If the issue cannot be resolved on the spot, a written claim must be sent within 28 days of the activity, detailing the complaint. Claims received after this period will not be considered.

Lack of fish caught during a guided fishing session cannot be considered a valid reason for a claim. However, if no fish or bites are recorded during the session, we may offer a rescheduled session at a preferential rate.

Safety

Wearing the provided life jacket is mandatory. The client certifies on their honor that they are fit to participate in shore, float tube, or kayak fishing activities, know how to swim (if not, this must be indicated), and have liability insurance (to be noted on the registration form).

In the event of an accident, the client authorizes the guide/instructor to take any appropriate action, with or without their presence, to ensure their safety and health, including calling emergency services or hospital transfer.
